Los Angeles Harbor College, Campus Master Plan
The purpose of this project was to examine the overall utilization of space at Los Angeles Harbor College and analyze the best ways of meeting each department’s program objectives. Working in close collaboration with College and Los Angeles Community College District staff, the team provided masterplanning, programming and pre-design services for 24 projects that will be completed as part of the Prop A and Prop AA Bond Programs, including new construction and the renovation of existing buildings.
Programming services were provided for a new Student Services Building, Classroom Building, Technology Instruction Building, Student Cafeteria, and Physical Education/Wellness Center. The team also determined renovation requirements for 11 existing buildings including classrooms and offices, the Learning Resource Center, and the Theater. New playing fields, surface parking, parking structures, vehicular access, and landscape projects were also part of this planning effort.
